Everyone knows Boris Johnson’s position and for the rest, let the games begin.

Nobody can say that Boris Johnson does not have a stance on Brexit. Of course he has; he has been saying what he believes in and what he will do for the country for the past three months. Suddenly, the Opposition Parties do not know what they think and are gathering a group of lemmings. It is because they have to make their manifesto, with nobody to rail against. If it was not so serious, it would be funny. The Liberal Democrat Jo Swinson has said that she will stop Brexit. It would perhaps be a good idea to ask the constituency to do an informal poll to find out how many of her Party members voted for Brexit. I may not agree with her, but she has courage.

The other parties are far too afraid of losing votes to put their definitive positions.

I don’t think that we have had a Prime Minister who has hit the ground running before, apart from Mrs Thatcher. Boris Johnson has listened to people on the front line of care. He just needs to surround himself with people who can make improvements happen.

So, two appalling events that have been allowed to happen:

  1. A young career broadcaster who said something silly that was brought out at the time. But, however it objectifies women, it is true. What he really said was that women did not understand men and shouldn’t get themselves into a situation they cannot manage. He’s only 34 and has wanted to be an MP for a very long time. It would be a good man who could reinstate him; it might just not be Boris Johnson. Is that the pot calling the kettle black?
  2. Mr Jacob Rees-Mogg lounged on a seat in the Houses of Parliament before or after hours. It shows just how exhausted he was. No-one minded, no-one sacked him; it was nonsensical. But it does show the amount of work the ferrets are creating. It was so sweet to see him with his eldest son, so like him, protecting him from a barrage of cameras.

So Parliament has to sit on a Saturday. Their Prime Minister needs a break. A few days maybe, where no-one can find him.

Regards for a busy week.
